Quine Road Hillclimb

2012

An early start, a day marshalling and James competing at the Quine Road hillclimb.

Original story

From Warwick’s notes

The original report has been retained and reformatted for comfortable reading on modern screens.

James was competing this day, so we were 'out of the gate' at 6.30 am (although with daylight saving having come overnight it was really only 5.30 am - yuk)

We put his car on the back of the van and then 'did our thing' as

marshals on 'point one'.

There were just the 4 of us this time, so after the prizegiving we

took James (and his car for a meal and then on to Hamilton where he

is working as a camp leader for the rest of the week.)

The rest of us were home about 9.30 that night.

We have now been required to provide 9 bods for Rally Of the North on

13th October.

Providing a bit of a challenge, but no doubt we shall cope.
